Man faces federal charge for trying to meet with woman and child

There is a saying that nothing you post on the Internet is private and nothing you post on the Internet will ever go away. One man's posting on the Internet was the basis of an investigation that has now led to a federal charge of enticing a minor.

The man who is facing these charges is a 55-year-old former manager for American Airlines. The airline has confirmed that he no longer works for the company. The man has pleaded not guilty to the federal charge against him and is free on a $50,000 unsecured bond.

It is alleged that the man posted a sex ad online for a "family or a couple of girls." In the case against him, he is alleged of setting up an encounter with a 10-year-old girl and her mother. The encounter was arranged while he was in Philadelphia on a business trip.

As it turned out in this case, the mother the man was exchanging messages with about meeting up for sex with her and her daughter was actually an undercover agent. He allegedly said that the 10-year-old female's age was fine and went as far as to describe certain sexual acts he wanted to participate in.

The man allegedly showed up at the appointed time and place of the encounter. He was arrested there. He also admitted that he had posted that same ad at least twice.

This man has opted to plead not guilty for this charge. He has the right to present a defense against the allegations.

Anyone who is facing sex-related charges has the right to explore the evidence against him or her and to decide how to handle his or her defense.
