Two individuals have been arrested following an investigation that started in September. The two Pennsylvania men face a number of drug charges, including possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Reportedly, members of the community made a series of complaints related to drug trafficking in the area.

A man who once served as a Pennsylvania senator has been defending himself against allegations of corruption and conspiracy. However, a judge recently dismissed the last of the pending criminal charges. The prosecutor requested that the judge drop the remaining charge in light of the other dismissed allegations.

A few years ago, a former Pennsylvania officer was recognized for his actions on the job during President Obama's State of the Union address, as the officer sat by the side of the First Lady. He was honored after he had suffered a shotgun wound to his face while attempting to apprehend someone. More recently, rape charges filed against him were dropped.

Recently, the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General filed criminal charges against 13 people from various backgrounds. It is alleged that the individuals were all engaged to varying degrees in a steroid and prescription medication drug operation. While not all of those charged were believed to have been involved in all aspects of the operation, all are facing drug charges of one type or another.

Substitute teacher's sex crimes case headed to courtroom

There are many rules that guide the acceptable interactions between teacher and student. While these regulations are in place to protect both parties, in some situations, these standards may not be realistically applicable. One Pennsylvania woman who was contracted as a substitute teacher was recently charged with committing sex crimes with two students.
